My take is that he passed doing what he clearly loved: flying. He made some of his greatest achievements in life while in flight and was still flying during his final moments.

How about putting the ISP supplied modem in a DMZ? Then the ISP could admin it all they want but still never touch the LAN.

I've thought about running a local CA, but wouldn't one need to have all of their devices configured to trust the local CA in addition to issuing certs to your services? I've been getting by just clicking through the TLS warn

I've never seen .email in the wild or on a LAN. If it was for servers, wouldn't email-server.local, .lan, .home, .corp, etc. make more sense? And using it as a part of an address like me@server.email seems redundant.

I'm more bummed about .zip becoming a TLD. I've already been bitten by it a couple times.

I wouldn't say they caused barely-nil reactions. Maybe to the general public and to a random bystander if asked, but they still had implications for the public's overall trust in the government. And for users in the affected space

A couple of historical CPU mods similar to this: - AMD K6-2+ can be converted to K6-3+ by moving a 0-ohm resistor under the IHS to unlock the full 256K of L2 cache only present on K6-3+ models. The CPUs were basically all the same and were

Yeah, it would be pretty cool to generate or modify assets on-the-fly depending on the character's path. Maybe there's a karma system and the character is becoming more evil, which then applies a weight to the assets and makes the

Kind of a tangent but I wonder how the serial numbers on the floppy disks were generated. They're clearly not sequential and the length differs between version 2.0D and 2.0F. SER# 312929011101963 (15 digits) SER# 312928910120

I'm a fan of WinDirStat. Yes it can be slow, but it runs on darn near every Win OS, hasn't changed in years, is a small executable, and the site always seems available. I used it many times to solve disk space issues on the job.

I think it's at least better to have real delta-9 THC (and real unadulterated flower) available for legal purchase instead of the endless poorly studied THC lookalikes that have flooded into the market.
