I would almost prefer an in-house AI assistant from Apple. Something that functions like ChatGPT but runs locally on the NPU. Would be fun to go for a walk and chat with it via Airpods, and would feel more comfortable knowing an outside company isn't slurping up your data.
- alwillis 2y ago1. Even if this happens, it's not the long-term solution for Apple devices. 2. Siri could be the front-end to an Apple LLM that runs locally on device.
