I get something like that in the initial IMAP sync. Some of my old emails will surface to the top with the current date as today. Never really bothered looking into as it only happens once, but I've been assuming that the date header o

I have a small post command hook in fish that looks at arg0 and prints out any associated reminder for the program I just used. I use it to remind myself that I'm testing an alternative (e.g I used grep today, and it printed out a remi

I find all lowercase messes with my parser, and is fustrating to read. I think I may treat sentences as a single unit, and use the capitilization to detect the boundaries. Without it I find bouncing to/from sentences slower (which can

Thanks for the keywords and sources. Is there a place I can look up fines for a company?

I did suspect Poe was involved. Been trying to think it through, but I guess I'm getting annoyed by how trivial people seem to think fines are. I'm not sure how to research this, but it seems like most companies hit with a fine li

I think that was the article that made me actually try to understand "A monad is just a monoid in the category of endofunctors". Researching "endofunctor" helped significantly more than any of the analogies floating arou

What is the PowerShellGet module[1] missing? It comes preinstalled in all versions post 5.1 (though 5.1 itself is limited). [1]: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/powershe...

Yeah. Every time I come across a banner like that I have to immediately scroll it off screen, otherwise my attention is spent tracking the banner and I can't focus on the text. Makes me wish `prefers-reduced-motion` supported `none`.

How decent is the maildir support? I looked into it a few years ago, and it seemed to still be experimental. My goal was to have other mail clients use the same maildir store, but I didn't feel like it would work at the time.

You can enable test mode[1] which lets you use any certificate, but outside of test mode you need an EV code signing cert[2]. [1]: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/i... [2]: https:&

Oh right, I keep forgetting that. The LGPL part is just the library that lets apps talk to the driver. I still think the main thing Interception has going for it is code signing. I once wrote a keyboard filter driver for personal use, but d

Interception is LGPL[1], the issue is that Windows requires drivers to be signed and code signing certs aren't cheap. That's also why interception has not updated in years to fix the bug where it only supports 10 devices to be con

Yeah. I imagine that's a bandaid around having to consume a dodgy api that they didn't have access/permission to fix. The blanket catch is odd though, as I'd have thought that it would still be outputting valid json (eve

I've seen this happen when someone's not familiar with their api framework and instead of returning an object for the framework to serialize, they serialize it on their own and return a string. Which then gets serialized again by

That's quite different though. It looks to be dealing with the case that a serialised object gets serialiased multiple times before it reaches that point of code, so it needs to keep deserialising until it gets a real object. E.g:

You need to have OrgMode active, which is usually not enabled for .txt. Try .org as the extension, or run `M-x org-mode` after opening the file.
