I'm not sure which package you are using, but these are the docs for adding servers to the two main lsp clients: Eglot: https://joaotavora.github.io/eglot/#Setting-Up-LSP-Servers lsp-mode: https://emacs

It's not like the clipboard is secure either. Any arbitrary app can listen to the clipboard in X11, and while it seems harder in Wayland, I'm not sure if I've ever seen a clipboard permission dialog (my Wayland experience is

The approach I use is to have a single incoming notes file for my phone. I then refile those notes into the correct location on my laptop later. It works for me because I realised that when I want to take a note on my phone I usually don&#x

I feel that. I used to run Xperia Compacts, but I think Sony stopped making them. Currently have a Unihertz Jelly 2, and while I really like it, occasionally I'd come across an app that did not expect such a small screen.

I sometimes see Squirrel[^1] used in Windows apps. Looks like it's used by Electron[^2], so maybe that's why. [1]: https://github.com/Squirrel/Squirrel.Windows/tree/develop/do... [2]: https:&#

I dunno. I can see how Dec 2022 could be Winter 2023 for New York, but basing publication dates off seasons seems purposefully vague.

Well, Google only seems to find that site and a couple of clones for the phrase "He's got called company". IMDB doesn't list it either: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2575988/taglines/ (gran

Maybe ellama[1] would work? It doesn't support Phind yet, but a provider could be created for the underlying connection package llm[2]. [1]: https://github.com/s-kostyaev/ellama [2]: https://github.com&

I drag the indicator when scanning a document. It's only a single click, and then I move the mouse to part of the document I'm interested in (and then can keep moving it if I want to look at another part). If I was to do this with

It's hard for native speakers too. Numerical contractions aren't part of normal English (i.e they don't seem to exist outside of IT).

Time to wrap around and have -omegas. When that standard becomes the norm we can keep going backwards until -alpha, at which point we can use --omega and so on.

Huh, didn't know abbrev had that limitation (wonder why?). Gave it a go in espanso ( https://espanso.org/ ), and it does work there. Edit: it would need context awareness too, which somewhat rules out espanso, otherwise

Read your notes. Search your notes before the trying internet. Using your notes will highlight what is missing, and you can then fill in those blanks. Since you are the one writing them, you can make them in a format that is easier for you

They also let you troubleshoot a problem after it has happened. Logs can give information about the trigger, which the debugger can't do as it requires you to known what inputs caused the issue.

Still not 20 years, but it's probably better to start at Office Communicator which was from 2007. Skype for Business was a rebrand of a rebrand of that, and apart from name has no relation to Skype.

Which is what the ButtonMapping config is for :) That said, I do think it would be nice to have written down that 8/9 are commonly used as backwards/forwards. They are just not explicitly backward/forward buttons though.

Is there an actual standard for mice at that point? I.e. have mice manufacturers ever written down what signals are backwards/forwards? The Logitech G600 has 20 extra buttons, and no backwards/forwards button. I think it's mo

Extra buttons starting at 8 is due to the mouse wheel taking 4-7 (both horizonntal and vertical scrolling are represented as a button) https://www.x.org/releases/current/doc/man/man4/mousedrv.4.x...

Isn't that the reverse? It's against the sentiment that being a part of system means that you implicitly agree with it, and any complaints you make about it are void.
