Might be a better idea to put a gif of the app in action on the page along with an explanation. Folks not familiar are just gonna click the back button when they're told they need to install a random plugin.

The author isn't responsible if people read it and think it's how they should be writing C, especially when the objective of writing lisp in as little C as possible is communicated. So why is it fair to label it irresponsible?

It does give them enviable control, but the security is a valid point. A browser engine has a wide surface area for attack vectors as it features multiple parsers and a JS engine.

Correct me if wrong, but I think that aside from their web based portal, everything else is open source. So you could control everything via API. So if they ever did go out of business, you could host it yourself and I'm sure by then a

Was it confirmed realtime though? Could have been batched, which makes it harder to reconstruct what was typed. Even that's a step too far though, but clarification can help draw the line between careless and malicious.

How would one normally go about finding a freelance PR contractor? Are there any particular online directories? I ask because from your description they seem like they've different tactics to the typical freelance marketer.

I didn't say they were positive, I said there were a couple of ones complaining about features, which was just moaning. We're probably just disagreeing on what constitutes hate, I thought that they were mostly just mild criticism.

There's a couple of comments complaining about features that are a little out of place. But I wouldn't call it "a lot" of hate. I think it's mostly a response to ground the hyperbole a little. There's usually n

A little cringe for my tastes. It's important to remember that fragmentation in and of itself isn't inherently bad. It can be useful not to have a monoculture on how to get things done.

I don't see what you said as a counter to the part where you quoted me. I never argued anything to the contrary of your sources. Your answer is an actual good faith counter to Peterson's assertions but the part where you quoted me

I think for anyone interested there'll be lots of docker containers and forks that keep up to date with upstream and simplify getting the binaries. I feel kind of bad for the authors here, the rollout of this hasn't been perfect.

I think you're arguing past the point a little. From what I've read, what got him booted out was Apple hemorrhaging money and the board wanting to keep the Apple II gravy train going and Jobs disagreeing. My point is that question
