I think you might be trying to "talk to" the wrong kind (or a very specific kind) of people if they'll only engage with you after receiving some social proof via Instagram. In my anecdotal experience, I've never heard of

I very much doubt Scotsmen are the target audience for this article. And the subject matter doesn't focus exclusively on Scotland, either.

I second this. I was taken to a whole host of frankly terrible sites, most of which were broken or even suspicious looking.

That's a good point. I didn't consider that. It was my mistake to simply take that as criticism/negativity of the NHS.

You seem to be getting downvotes, but the NHS did issue guidelines suggesting that British people increase their vitamin D intake or supplement it: https://www.nhs.uk/news/food-and-diet/the-new-guidelines-on-...

I'm not sure the shaming or even the people is the biggest issue with alcoholism and the issues raised in the article. It's more the almost overwhelming temptation - the need, even - to consume alcohol. It's not an issue I fa

You're clearly not an alcoholic, therefore I'm sure it is easy. For some, alcoholism is considered to be a chronic brain disease where just ordering something else isn't as easy as it sounds.

Loved the writing style in this. It pulled me along at a decent clip, kept me interested right to the end - and that’s something I never thought I’d say about monster trucks.
