While I admire your principles, it seems that by not getting physicals, you appear to be trading off your health for your principles. It is a choice for you to make but might I suggest that if the insurance/healthcare that you get is t

I thought the same until I stayed at a HomeAway property where they used the electronic locks. They defined an entry PIN for me for the duration of the stay, presumably revoking it after I was gone. This enabled me to come and go without wo

I looked at the critical reviews and it seems that there was an uptick of fake products sent to customers. Perhaps such an uptick triggers this fakespot behavior? My observation for this and other products is that when something is shady, t

Not all laptops are thus compromised. My HP Elite X2 G1 1012 matches the Surface physical attributes and yet has a user-replaceable battery (and screen, and m.2 SSD.)

I have been thinking about how to work around the gerrymandering/gigantic 'war chests' that the incumbents have and the following idea comes to mind: run against these incumbents locally in the party primaries to help drain t

If the phone can get LineageOS, then it is fairly easy - just don't install GApps when flashing LineageOS to the phone. Alas, phones that are thus open are getting rarer and rarer :( .

When one can't help by being on the inside, it is sometimes better to go outside so that one can better use this one life that one gets. Also, continuing to work there and complying with their new-speak policy while waiting for the axe

I place this ( http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90184047/ ) on my desk when I want a standing desk and remove it when I am ready to sit down :) . I like Ikea.

For me, it was a good improvement compared to the stock laptop position (13" MBP). I guess it reduced the angle of neck-crane by half so for the price, I was pretty happy.

I use this: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20302596/ . Works great at the desk for me since I don't use an external monitor.

I imagine the reason is that in other countries, the government may have negotiated maximum rates and coverage, ensuring that while choice is limited, the upper bound on usurious behavior is contained.

Erythritol can cause digestive discomfort for some [1], which is why I suspect it isn't prevalent. It was an eye opener to me how many packaged goods have sugar (HFCS) added, when intuitively it seems there was no good reason for any a

I can recommend my HP Elite X2 1012 G1. Clunky name but user-replaceable SSD, battery, and screen, along with no moving parts, makes me a happy camper. They have a newer faster version now too.
