Without the staff from TSMC, the Chinese Government probably can't run those facilities. I suspect there isn't much probability that china could mobilize and take those facilities as-is with no sabotage. The US has taken steps rec

That what I meant when I said the decision would be weight to do that because in aggregate it pays off, but, the payoff for those one time things is not fully retroactive. E.g. for sold products it does nothing. For services, it can be much

Cutting costs is always a marginal thing, because businesses tend to value growth. Oversimplification: If you have a 50% margin business, the value of one more dollar of revenue is $.50. If you cut costs and change the margin to 55%, then y

This is true but also useless. AC synchronous motors cannot be easily substituted for Permanent Magnet DC motors in all use cases. BLDC motors with permanent magnets are drastically more energy dense and are easier to control. We've ha

What oils are not derived from seeds? Olive, Avocado, Canola, Safflower, Corn...All of these are seeds. Are you saying that we should not use vegetable oils? Just use butter / lard / tallow? Am I missing something?

If you would like to compare to USD, then also compare the volume of transactions....Carbon / transaction is massively lower in USD than Bitcoin. Especially because bitcoin is rarely used to buy anything. its just a speculative asset.
