Not implying that. Implying that the strategies to smoothen things out are not applied correctly but too naively obviously (there are multiple correlated factors so I guess it's somewhat more difficult than it seems). They address symp

Don't misunderstand. I'm not advising them to not stick to it if they find the treatment appropriate. I just don't think that it is wise to force a life-long treatment if the patient is aware that they have a problem but they

Chemotherapy is actually a general term which means treatment by medicamentation as opposed to other kind of treatments. I agree that nowadays it helps, and it can stabilize patients. I was just explaining that it's not a cure nor a pa

I don't think that helping them to "stick" to treatment and medication is the right solution especially long term. The chemotherapy alleviates only some symptoms but can exacerbate if not create some other ailments. There is

I love Go but I must confess I was a bit skeptical when I read the article: 1. In my own experience, firefox is usually faster than chrome at executing wasm. 2. I'm not a rust programmer but the performance of the rust implementation a

It's not doing nothing actually. It's about observing one's own thoughts (basically brain chatter and sometimes sensations, perceptions) from a distance. Meta-cognition. :)

Ah I see. Why throw exceptions? They could just be noop depending on the typestate? But still it doesn't look very nice in practice. I think that in that case, it does make much more sense for a mutable type to be a subtype of the im

Just curious, isn't it obvious from a logical standpoint? I don't see how one could consider a mutable type to be a subtype of an immutable one. On the other hand, an immutable subtype of a mutable one seem plausible?

Before there was a market for Art, it used to be heavily subsidized by rich people. It was basically contract work. (Medicis etc). As long as you find that there is a vibrant market, go for it. But otherwise I would keep it a hobby and try

I haven't said that. The point is that hydration is more of an issue for MPAs since each time the page loads (on navigation), the html must be parsed and DOM objects need their javascript listeners attached. For SPA, this is not the c

That might not be hydration but third party script delaying the main js file perhaps? Hydration shouldn't take that long depending on the frameworks. Frameworks that rerender such as react are probably more problematic.
