I'm a fullstack dev with expertise in the frontend. I've worked on transitioning stacks into AWS, worked on the devops side of things, built and shipped product features, and helped to be a change agent within the organizations th

I've found a function layer easier to use than having a dedicated row for it. Having f1,f2,f3,f4,f5 map to a,s,d,f,g is a dream when debugging, you don't have to move your hand at all.

Kinda bummed to see that they don't support qmk. Why write your own firmware when a sweet oss firmware with tons of backing already exists?

I like this comment. It's good to not use jQuery, but I would still recommend looking at it for a historical perspective. Browser apis take care of jQuery nowadays, but it's good to see the library because a lot of sites still run

If you're in tech, yes. There are a lot of tech related jobs that Boise has a huge deficit for. You won't be compensated at the same rates that you would be in California, but the cost of living would make up for it.

I've been really enjoying the pragmatic studio series as well. I highly recommend it if you're looking into getting into Elixir.

Regarding your security questions: you don't have to put the real answers in. Instead I often create 30 char passwords for those fields.

I'm a big fan of typing new code. My most recent example was while learning Webpack. You could pick from oodles of pre-existing configuration, but it's meaningless if you just copy and paste it in to your editor. I normally type s
