Turning that into a premium feature is a pretty good opportunity for profit imo.

OP might also want to consider releasing a CLI / other form of library at a higher price.

Mentioning “on Cheddar” in the title seems very much promotional. Could we get a title change on this post?

Their competitor's website (which has slightly nicer sorting/filtering functions, imo) is here: https://www.passportindex.org

Same here! I've had the pleasure of meeting them both IRL, and frankly, Intel can consider themselves lucky that they're on the team.

As well as the person who put JS on Pebble in the first place (Heiko Behrens, rocky.js) and Pebble's Head of Dev Tooling (Katharine Berry, CloudPebble etc.) And yes, the Vaunt glasses run JS.

Turning off Bluetooth and uninstalling the app (or stopping it from running in the background) after the initial update worked just fine when I tried it. Not sure why you’d want that, though. The vast majority of users will buy a smartwatch

You should have a look at the monthly Who Is Hiring thread[0], assuming you already have an idea of what you can do. [0] This is January 2018's one: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=16052538

w/r/g/b/c/m/y/k is 2^3 and would allow 1byte→3dot with little parity, or 4dot with a bunch of extra parity.

Obligatory grammar/style comment: What’s with the British English-style conjugation in the byline—I thought Bloomberg was US-based? (Also, City of London != London.)

I think we'll also see an influx of great Mac apps as lots of engineering talent is currently trained to use UIKit (iOS).

Completely unrelated to article content—I very much hope that standardnotes’ publishing feature becomes a real medium competitor. They’ve made a great product so far and I’d love to see it take off.

Can we get this renamed to "frozen methane"? "Flammable ice" is kind of a ridiculous term.

That should take approximately as long as a client<->server ping, right? So shouldn't it be irrelevant for JS/CSS that loads within that time (say, 50Mbps & 15ms ping --> everything below 93KB gzipped?)

I’m personally running it only for my projects folders & syncing to B2. Upload/storage pricing is super low for that, but downloading from them gets expensive if you use it often. If you’re switching to rclone anyway, I’d suggest y

If you're interested in messing around with `rclone`, I've found the filtering rules[0] to be very nice. Among others, it supports Google Drive and Dropbox itself. [0]: https://rclone.org/filtering/

The US high school curriculum tries to provide different courses in a way that may be great for creative subjects or languages, but simply doesn’t work well for math. The level of interconnection (eg uses of calculus in probability theory a

I had expected something like this knowing that it's impossible to solve a 3x3x3 after assembling it with a corner rotated incorrectly. Thanks for this insight!

Shouldn't that be 8*2 values since the rotation of the cubelets is also important? (I haven't done much research on graph-trimming rubik's cubes, so I'm not quite sure about this.)

Though the "define center colors" approach sounds reasonable, a R/L' turn (and T/B' and F/R') are effectively equal, leaving you with {R; T; F; R'; T'; F'; 2R; 2T; 2F} = 9 possibilities

That's not really the point—this test track is very short (0.8 mi). I don't really think the competition proves anything, but at least it's good PR.
