Bad analogy, herbs and spice also should be used sparingly not in abundance. Less is more. Use them where it makes sense not as a default. My comment was for english speakers as a whole not just learners.

I like very though. It's very very veritably vivacious. I can't stand people who care about this stuff. The purpose of language is communication. If you understood what was said, the language used did it's job. Those alternat

Great reply, sorry my response is late but 1998-2003 era desktop icons are a good example. Of course it would be an explicit retro look today but short of a mockup what I can say us that those classic icons felt tangible. They were not afra

This is subjective so I hope it is ok for me to say this: the icons are not beautiful. They feel artificial and generic. At least they are not square. But they do lack character and personality. If your goal is to conform to what UI designe

Quite the opposite. Any conversation remotely related to mental health == "see a therapist". No need to frame things as mental health topic, most of the time you don't need someone who is a expert in psychoanalysis to help pe

You can tell a lot from the exif metadata of images so that's one reason (user privacy) to always re-encode images.

I gave on trusting phones to secure data a long time ago. But my approach is, at least when on wifi, to allow access to the internet only if the device connects to a local vpn gateway. 100% leak proof and prevents almost all wifi/lan&#

I think it might be because microsoft charges money for windows licenses and you can't keep it free of charge and pay for licenses for the lab vms. But for exploit labs, you just need to give learners the samples and/or something

Maldev academy is slightly related. I always like to give a shout out to opensecuritytraining as well. In my experience, open source material like this is too Linux focused. But even with paid courses (doing one of them right now actually)

This is FISA right? The target is foreign individuals and entities? It seems by default HN is against it, can someone articulate why? There are elected representatives of the people providing oversight and it seems to have strong bipartisan

You can create burner cards that are single use or cards dedicated to a merchant. As far as timing and location data you don' need visa or mastercard for that, but any information visa or master card can share with third parties would

Foreign based entities should not be afforded any privileges under US law. They must at least primarily and mostly reside in the US to be afforded privileges like engaging in non-essential commerce.
