It all depends on how the data are encrypted. With a sensible design capturing the encrypted storage will only reveal the number of encrypted records, rough estimates on their size, and time stamps.

Spectre is not going to be fixed for code within the same address space and allows to read all process memory from untrusted code. Google in V8 tried to protect against that, but they mostly gave up as there were way too many ways to affect

Heavily sandboxed container has overhead of few percents. A hardware VM slows things down by 10-20% for a typical application. So even combining VM with a container will still be significantly faster than WASM.

Despite the sandboxing one still cannot run untrsuted WASM code in the same process as trusted code due to hardware bugs. CPU vendors are not going to fix those anytime soon. Their message is to always use separated address space for securi

I wish more language designers paid attention to how Ada did things. The language has some features that are very relevant to performance that even C++ or Rust lacks. For example, Ada allows to return stack-allocate arrays with variable num

First the parents should stop being Internet or device addicts themselves. Without that nothing works long-term. Work from home made the situation worse as children see how parents spent at least 8 hours in front of computers.

The so-called Low-Fat diet still allowed for 20%-30% of calories to come from fat. There are a lot of indications that this is not really low to make a meaningful conclusion. One needs to target max 10%-15% of calories from fat to make a di
