Since quite a while, Nintendo either takes down videos or claims ad revenue for the videos via the Youtube DMCA. Last year Nintendo made a program[1] where Youtubers could sign up to be Nintendo partners, and in return they could keep somew

I just use Vimium, 'H' is the default shortcut to go back a page. Mind you, Vimium also supports custom hotkeys, so that would be a possible way to get that back. And it's really good for full keyboard navigation. What I'

Why is parent getting down voted, not wanting to spend a couple hundred bucks, specially outside of the US where a couple hundred bucks can be what you make in a month, is a perfectly valid reason.

This really seems like mostly an ego problem, or maybe I see it that way because that's the hammer in my hand. I would recommend reading this article by Chris Grobmeier: https://www.grobmeier.de/the-10-rules-of-a-zen-pr

A factor that I feel is more important but was sort of glossed over during the article is the fact that it is a competitive disadvantage NOT to do this. The average person is becoming increasingly security conscious, and so are small and me

I agree with this. The page says it's a framework, but I feel like it's describing a kickstarter/generator. That said, I will bookmark Pepperoni and give it a go during the weekend, it looks interesting.

For the most part Developer, Programmer, and Software Engineer are used interchangeably, at least here in Mexico. I know some countries don't call people 'Engineers' unless they have a degree, but that's as far as the di

I have been using VS Code for a year or so and it really is worth checking it out if you do JavaScript development. It has very nice IntelliSense, out of the box linting, and the best git integration I've seen in any IDE, period. It al

I think it's a bit naive if you think that Web Developers are cleanly split into Frontend and Backend. Most of the developers I know, like myself, are Fullstack. According to the Stack Overflow developer survey[1] there's more Ful

I use Dash everyday and I think it would be disingenuous to say that it solves the same 'problem' that Kite looks like it's trying to solve. I can certainly see some degree of overlap, but they seem like quite different progr
