For sure its enough. We haven't had a GTA game for a decade. There was some interview with the Skyrim people who didn't want to do the next skyrim because of the success of Skyrim. Lets be honest, just make another Skyrim a little

Even a billionar has the right for Presumption of innocence. I'm not surprised per se that people act like this, i'm surprised that someone on hn is not capable having a proper discussion about it and being very unreflective. Its

Basic great usecase (not just fun things): IF you can control it remote, you can check your flat if you are gone for a little bit longer.

We are in the hot phase of research, development and exploration. I think its good that someone is trying it out. If the output is shit, its not my money. If the output is great, I know we crossed some magic line and we will rethink our wor

No im not. I'm not protecting him and i'm quite disappointed that his good reputation is gone because of it. Before Epstein details, he became a lot more helpful to the society (ebola for example). But "Presumption of innocen

I do get the general gist of it, but thats not a real discussion and I put out arguments/points someone could address. His involvement made a lot of good reputation go away for me and if anything real comes out of this, he needs to pay

Good ones actually are quite aware of the industry, connect the dots and setup the company to be sustainable, growing and ready when its time to be ready. Like investing in a prototype which solves industry issues the CEO understood. Same a

The pattern def matches and I would say that the internet is also a interconnected super intelligence. But AGI does something additional: It decreases cost for it and increases speed.

Is there any particular reason why you respond like this? Do you think this adds anything to this discussion at all? Did you even take the time and effort to read my comment?

Intereresting point I will try to see if i can find more about it. I would assume apple has a lot more magic sause than just TSMCs best node and a little bit of ARM architecture addons.

Yeah I know but that wasn't what I was hinting at. I mean you expect some company which did some android rom, a smartphone, IoT Robots stuff a car?! and now makes a chip which can compete with apple.

I have 2 4090 and last time i played around with it, the context window killed it for me. The normal LLMStudio stuff works great, but then i tried out anything with subagent things or parallel stuff and it trashed my cache and got super slu

There are sooo sooo many students and normal people using these devices or corporate laptops never seen inferencing or anything like this, its so hard to trash the storage of them, i wouldn't worry about it.

I'm just a german dude not finding this 'joke' funny. I'm not an apple fanboy nor a xiamoi fanboy. Its impressive that a random chinese company was able to catch up to the 2th richest company with global experts so fast

I'm not a pro-china poster, i'm from germany and didn't find this 'funny'. Apple is the second richest company on the world (which doesn't need help/protection?!) and they have experts in chip design. Xiam

You can already run it locally its just not the same. It is still slow, a lot slower than what you are used to with claude and co. And as soon as you increase context size, your memory requirements jump. Then when it runs for 30 minutes for

That would be a complete defeat for a Frontierlab / Company like Google/Deepmind. They will never ever do like this. They for sure would add architecture ideas from other research/models but thats it.

As soon as the AI progress 'slows down' a little bit and its a little bit more clear what makes sense of converting into a hardware model, there will be for sure something. It either might be some neural engine like what Apple is
