Yes, but that's the only way I know of to legally stop others from making money off "ideas". Copyright isn't a good tool for this as oracle recently found out.

Assuming no other chrome-specific vulnerabilities, the same PoC can also be implemented for Firefox because it allows temporary installation of unsigned addons. Besides, I'm not arguing that extensions can't be malicious. Also, I

I don't see chrome having that problem and it doesn't enforce similar signing requirements. Mozilla's decision was either ill thought out or was not motivated by "online security". In any case, most people tend choo

So if I take the source code and change the manifest to indicate that it is compatible, then it should work out of the box? I still don't understand why they don't do what kiwi does. It supports all the chrome addons without modif

Isn't mazda that shitty company that thinks it can take legal action against you for doing things with your own car? Edit: Yep, it is[1]. No thanks. 1: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=37921584

That's why I always download the original version and quantize myself. With enough swap, you can do it with a modest amount for ram. I never had to download a model twice. But yes, unless there is a way to patch it, bundling the model

No, that day was when openAI decided to betray humanity and go close source under the faux premise of safety. OpenAI served it's purpose and can crash into the ground for all I care. Open source (read, truly open source models, not fal

You can use the embedable release of python (which is signed) to run arbitrary unsigned code on windows. If you don't believe me, try it. Code signing on windows is a security theater at best and is next to useless. I agree that let&#x

Client-side scanning can't and won't work because: 1. Users can scramble the files to pass scans. 2. Users can use the same client-side scanners as black boxes to verify. There is no scenario in which client-side scanni
