I've got an iPod Touch, so I don't really think I'm in your target audience here, but here's some random thoughts that popped into my head, based on your Flickr screenshots: For all views: * Are you sure you don't want default status

How could you make Life into "more of a game"? Let two people make figures and hope they move in the general direction of one another to "fight"?

There already are a number of iPhone implementations of Conways game of Life: http://ax.search.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa... Reading the reviews, its not really a hit; people don't always seem to get the game.

Unfortunately there is no good alternative to Firebug, since it's been so great for so long no one has felt the need to make a compelling rival What about Safari's Web Inspector?

If I gave off a sense of entitlement, thats the last thing I feel, concerning FF. However, I don't feel like its that big of an expectation to want software that works well. Am I mistaken here? Or did you mistake my responding to a dev aski

Whoops, wrong version. You're right, it was FF3 that didn't change the color at all. Sorry about that mixup. In FF 3.5, it just makes the background tab bar color the same color as the foreground Cocoa titlebar color. So it's still irritati

For starters, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472271 To continue, how FF never looks like its in the background (the tab bar color never changes, for example) — actually, scratch that, the app itself doesn't look or act like

Looking at sales reports for an app I work on, Apple has only charged a negative amount for the 70% that we would have made from the app, not the full 100% of the price.

There are advancements here, such as EFI. All Intel Mac's use EFI now.

Serial numbers are not used, UDID's are. UDID's are used in provisioning profiles, so developers can send apps out to beta testers that can be installed ad hoc.

This sounds remarkably like what Twitter gets used for during major conferences. I know its what I used it for during WWDC, at least.

Erm, might I suggest you reread what I said here, in this particular thread. Which amounted to saying that not all Mibbit users know or care much about IRC. Which is a very silly thing to be taking offense to, let alone demand to be prove

Oh. Thanks for explaining. I didn't mean to imply that mibbit users are retarded. Just that they don't quite know (or care?) as much about IRC as other people do.

Given there are thousands of IRC networks around, < 500 supporting the protocol is a drop in the sea. And many IRCD's need a plugin that doesn't come standard for it. Hardly out of the box. And by non-stanard, I simply meant it wasn't i

I've actually spoken to several users who found that to be true. Even if silly, from the point of view of someone who knows what IRC is. Which is far from everyone. //edit: don't care much about karma, but I am curious as to how pointing

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you completely and stand beside Freenode's decision. As someone who is an ircop on another network with a few thousand users that also blocks Mibbit, abuse is not a red herring at all. The last time Mibb

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here. I mentioned the iPhone Dev Portal, and code-level issues having problems solved, not that the App Store was magically fixed with 5 minutes of talking to an engineer.

OS X wasn't a complete rewrite. It was a "Our rewrite is going to hell, lets buy a new OS to use." Go look up the history of Copland from Apple, its mildly interesting.
