While I agree with this to some extent, I'd just like to comment on the the skateboarding analogy; You were probably taking it one step at a time, learning to stand on the board, increase your speed, make turns. Once you got all that done,

Yey, different countries/cultures have different traditions. Film at 11. If you want to be useful, set up a site/wiki that can describe the different traditions in different countries. That would be useful.

It's not by any mean a dead language, but this submission should be, I don't know why it hasn't been flagged down and deleted.

I think another point is that programming is generally started as a hobby, because you love it. You might spend years and years doing it for fun - you are in control what you're doing, you do things that you like. Then, it becomes a profess

Don't get me wrong, I think Catalyst is great. But I liked the look of Mojo (and Mojo::Lite) -- as I said I haven't used it much but I'll try to use it in a project soon -- I also think it's good for Perl as a whole that there's an easy to

Apart from some mailing list, which bypasses the inbox, I always want to get unread messages read. If it's junk I'll delete, if it's something I need to action later, I'll star it (gmail). I just don't want to see "Unread messages"..
