Personally, I've always wanted a vehicle with the speed and fuel efficiency approaching a motorcycle and a 5-star crash safety rating. Motorcycles are a death trap, and I refuse to ride one despite their many advantages.

When the multi-player asteroids story was published, people were talking about Firebase, and having never heard of it, I started googling and found this: http://www.cubeia.com/index.php/products/firebase A scalable real-time game server w

I programmed the first year of my start-up using only dragon naturally speaking 9 and vim (dns 10 didn't play nice with vim). I could actually program at a comparable speed to what I can do by typing. Only activities that required the mouse

The real reason Linux lags windows is application support. Windows 8 seems to have every intention of being a train wreck, but Linux will benefit little because users will not upgrade from Windows 7. Linux is not an alternative as long as u

Why would creating your own programming language for a virus be a good thing? If viruses are the only thing written in this language, wouldn't the language make it easier for the anti-virus companies to detect it without having to worry as

The real problem is that web design is about 100x harder than it should be. I'm not saying there shouldn't be room for the artists to outshine the rest of us, but there's no excuse for why placing elements with css is so hard. Different bro

It looks very nice, but I'm a little confused as to what should be included as a service. My website has forums. Do I need to say I collect user comments? Do I need to do that for all user-contributed information? How specific does it needs

I grew up playing playing the first MMORPGs where each level or skill took hours upon hours of repetitive button mashing. Hence, I learned to "macro," and my automation programs gradually grew more and more advanced.

I also think that using html tags is a poor practice. That said, Dojo does not require it for anything. I use dojo daily, and I find everything to be well-written and high quality. It's the documentation that has always been a train wreck.

Javascript was originally built for the browser and later expanded to other areas. I'm not claiming that python wouldn't need a new standard library to manipulate a browser's dom tree or whatever. That's about all it would need though, so i

I've never understood the point of special browser only languages. Why don't browsers support a sand-boxed python (or insert favorite language x) with some sort of standard dependency management? It already has JIT compilation, is cross-pla
