You show a small banner on the page, with 3 options: accept, reject optional and configure. Configure explains each thing and lets the user opt in to specific things. It is quite simple really. And if you only track necessary information, y

But the population that blocks (opt-out) telemetry is likely low, at least that is what I would assume. So I don't think it makes a big impact

I use an extension that lets me quickly jump to bookmarks and have a bunch of yt speed bookmarklets (named 1.25x, 1x, 2x etc) and it is so nice to quickly change playback speed with the keyboard

If you rely on default config uBO just works, but if you go furthur in blocking things (or add third party filters) tinkering may be required for certain webpages (or a lot depending on how hard you go)

With that display you can totally block or allow (sub-)domains on the current website (or all websites) so it does have some power, but it is not as powerful as the the scripts which allow much more granularity

How is it not liberating to not be dependant on another human being for everything?

The point is that the bikers that decide to use it are safe. That it can encourage more bikers and take cars off the road. The fact that some bikers so not use it does not invalidate the usefullnes of a bikelane

I don't think this is necessarily true. Big chaos score means that the hiring manager is basically free to hire whoever they want with no verification, but that does not mean that they do not keep their engineers in check. Google has l

You don't have to change the world, but if no one tries to change things that are bad, they will not change. So don't have a defeatist attitude all the time, but once in a while try to actually have an impact. We will all be much

I still won't entirely understand where Appolo's 20Million figure comes from. As far as I understand all the outrage is because of what the Appolo dev published, but reddit seems to claim that even for third party apps they get 10
