Technically means according to a strict, often legal definition. The strict definition being we don't count developments that happened before version 1. Like when we talk about Rust, we don't mention the virtual threads or GC or t

Go also has one glaring disadvantage. GC. Assuming you're in the cloud. It's easy to write code that trivially eats memory. Plus any resources spent on it, are resources not spent on other cloud provider things.

Usually the same guy doesn't get paid for developing code, bug bounty and fixing the code. It leads to corruption. To paraphrase Dilbert "I'm going to code myself a car."

That's pricing. Pricing has no correlation with profit. It can be artificially lowered to kill competition, and artificially inflated to maximize profit.

Sure there are. US economy is K shaped. You either become rich or end up poor. It's economy geared for the rich. Where poor only exist to give rich a confidence boost.

When economy goes K shaped (only ultra rich or ultra poor with no in-between) GDP is good preidictor of how the ultra rich are fairing. For everyone else a roulette wheel is a better measurement.

They might share some paradigms (focus on low level optimization) but they aren't the same. Go focuses on heavy runtime, looser type systems, and all the benefits and drawback that brings.
