Typical 5 watt solar panel is 25x25 cm. That 5 watt is generated under ideal conditions, i.e. in sunlight, measuring about 100 kilolux. Bright indoor lightning is 1 kilolux, i.e. the "indoor solar panel charger" would take ~6 m² (

Nice demo but way too complex and limited (requires line-of-sight) for practical use. I would rather take a MagSafe-style zero-force dock.

The more there's featues, the harder it will be to create new independent implementations, which is not good for openness/competition. The bar is already too high.

Pixelmator is crazy cheap for its features and polishness. Edit: seems to be $60 now for "Pro" version, whatever that means, but still cheap. My only wish is svg export¹. [1] http://www.pixelmator.com/community

Nothing prevents you from using CoffeeScript with the "ecosystem". CoffeeScript is just alternative syntax. Version 2 outputs ES6 code with compatible classes, etc. It also supports JSX out of the box (with the help of babel), the

Odroid-w will never be re-stocked because Broadcom stopped selling them the SoC (presumably because the Raspberry Pi Foundation didn't like the competition). I also grabbed two of them before Zero came out, for tenfold(!) price.

Because JSON is a text format, nobody prevents you from encoding floats like this: { "int": 1, "float": 1.0 } Of course it's up to the parser implementation to interpret 1.0 as a float. The spec is very relaxed abou
