It actually seems like they restored it to its original style. It was painted over to make the sheep look more sheep-like. The "new" restored version is actually how the Van Eycks painted it.[0] [0]: https://www.bbc.com

I didn't enjoy the DLC as much as the base game, but I did appreciate what they did with it. I missed flying to different planets rather than being confined to one of them. The story was really good

I work in an open floor plan with music on in the background. I find it immensely distracting but 80% of my office are basically hourly phone support staff. I'd find that job so monotonous that I empathize with them wanting music. My s

Nextdoor is the absolute worst about this. Selecting unsubscribe only lets you unsubscribe from the "type" of email they're sending you. After unsubscribing 7 or 8 times I just reported the whole domain as spam and blocked it

What I love about the Ea-Nasir story is the tablet was found in a pile of other tablets, suggesting that Ea-Nasir saved them. Why? Who knows, maybe he found them funny.

They mention in the article that their zero-trust architecture is what prevented the attacker from gaining access to on-prem data. So it seemed like it worked pretty well in mitigating the damage.

What I find disturbing about things like Replika is all your conversations are owned and stored by the company. At least with a real-life partner, there's not a database that someone can query to pull your intimate in-person discussion

I don't see how you can think nuking something just "resets" it. The whole point of sanitizing probes and not introducing foreign microbes to Mars is specifically so that we keep it separate from human intervention. Once you

Have you seen the layout? It's pretty close to a square in terms of design. It has a U-shaped dip in the top of it but I don't see it being super entertaining.

Hmm, what about a launcher? Slingshot the drone any number of ways, then "landing" can be handled by an arrestor net.
