I always found it disappointing nobody tried making a phone with 5 programmable buttons on each side. It would make an excellent chording keyboard setup if the phone was narrow enough to grasp.

I just got one for my desk. Sure the time is on the corner of my computer screen, and on my watch and my phone, but I'm not wearing my watch right now and my phones are just chilling on my desk. I can see the clock from across the room

IDK. I've been in a timex store before where they actually DID put the same time on all the watches. Of course pranksters would enable the alarm on a lot of those watches lol.

Easy. This dude is probably a business owner trying to neg their programmers into thinking that they're easily replaced cogs in a machine that should give their job priority over their life.

I feel like, if we are to obligate message boards to host all messages posted on them, then we should also obligate businesses to provide their service to any customer that walks in the door. Yep, that means a bakery would be required by la

Yea, a disturbing amount of reviews on amazon for the lower end (still 1350/1500VA though!) UPSes contain words like "smoke" and "fire". My own experience with UPSes didn't involve smoke or fires, but it did in

I get where you're going with this. At the same time, I am reminded of the Kia Boyz incidents - where the immobilizer was pretty much expected on every new car, and Kia had decided to maximize profits on their low end models by just om

I don't know what you're talking about. Historically, mac programs were designed with way more, and way better hotkeys than Windows apps. It's just that people got used to alt and arrow keys to dig around menus. Macs have a w

Apple's argument was the iOS was a robustly secure platform AND the app store made it even more secure. The reality of the situation looks more like the app store was a bandaid over a maybe-not-as-robustly-secure-as-we-hoped platform.
