One way to combat the issues you bring up is to add more members to the House of Representatives. Keep the same districts, but have each district elect five members. A cluster of a minority population might be able to elect 1 of 5 members,

I like the Ultima V graphics (1988) better than his Queen's Wish (2019). Looks like he is using detailed hi-res textures, sampling them down, then using antialiasing to get rid of the edges. Everything looks muddled and blurry. I j

Reverse it, and it becomes clear. The teacher picks 30 numbers out of 100. Then each student (independently) picks one number. If random, that is 0.3 ^ 30. Obviously, the students are not picking random. If I had to pick for the teacher:

Even a quarter is a huge area. Using the "safety buffer" radius of 425m, that is 560k m2 or 140 acres. A quarter of that is 35 acres, for 30 kW. For regular wind turbines, it's 30-70 acres per MW generated. That is 20x-40x

People cannot be anywhere in the radius of the kite cable. Kinda limits where is can be deployed. But the quick deployment could work for some situations.

Same as an LLM, they can be used in an illegal way if used to copy copyrighted material. So I can't tell it to reproduce a copyrighted work. But it can create new material in the style of another artist.

Are photocopy machines illegal? Are CD-ROM burners illegal? Both allow near-unlimited copies of copyrighted material at a scale much faster than a human could do alone. The tools are not the problem, it's how humans use them.

I used Auctioneer. But it couldn't do what I needed at the time, or maybe I didn't investigate enough (TBC/WoTLK timeframe). My scripts were no UI, no graphics, it would just output console commands. The Blizzard API was v

I used Auctioneer, found it very helpful. But it couldn't (at the time) do the things I wanted to do. My scripts didn't have any UI or fancy graphics, just outputting text to the console.

After playing the AH manually for a long time, I'd know that a stack of ore would sell for 20g. I was manually buying when under 20g and relisting. My script just reduced the tedium. I'd manually add in checks for each high-vol

I wrote an AH script. It would scan every auction, buy under-priced items, and relist. If someone undercut me, it could cancel and relist just below them. I basically had unlimited gold.
