I totally agree - we need "one framework to rule them all". I don't want to learn another 10 technologies we won't use anymore in 5-10 years.

This can be seen in scientific papers as well as in some books. It is based on the literacy of the powerful that we know from the dark ages. To use complex language as a substitute for easier formulations is a tool for literate people to p

The problem is that the wealthy people are the one's who govern. (they define what is and what isn't legal) This is interconnected and to change it would mean to break it up somehow. Therefor you'd need to change the premise

This is a very good idea but I'm afraid it won't play along the human condition. People construct reality with things they want to believe. Most people aren't interested and/or skilled enough to be reasonable and think l

This is a perfect example for software that tries to solve a problem that doesn't exist. It can be done with whatever: - record video (notebook / smartphone / ...) - send / share / embed into some other software (me

GitLab had the really cool CI/CD features before Bitbucket was getting some attention in this area. Also you have to differentiate Stash (on-prem; Java) and Bitbucket (on-demand [if it works haha]; Python). Bitbucket was meant to be us

I'm quite sure about that because at some point they'll have to admit they can't keep up anymore. What I dislike about this behaviour is that parts of it (bitbucket, hipchat) are good and they just throw everything away they

You can change your ports but it won't prevent "Eve" from scanning for those as you mention yourself. I think this belongs to the realm of "security through obscurity" tactics and won't be safe in the long run.

Ok that's a good start for the Android world... But it still won't convince me to buy another phone that is based on this OS. My crappy old iPhone 5s is _still_ supported today - not just security patches but the OS as well. While
