USB Overdrive is as close as you'll get to a solution. This is the company that can't even make iTunes usable with 16 years of work.

Apple fundamentally does not understand software. A shame, as the software, really, was their original special sauce with the Mac 128k and beyond. Today, however, the company really doesn't understand how to make, maintain, or market s

Frankly, if yer looking for a portable way to play emulated games and old computer stuff, the nVidia Shield Portable is amazing. It's like someone at nVidia saw all these GP32's and weird handheld emulation devices and said,"

The last premium Chromebook, the Pixel, yes you could install Linux and just boot into it. Problem was, Linux... Debian was not ready for this device, especially the high res screen, which made the UI in Linux super duper tiny. Debian saw t

This, coupled with the incredibly mean people on the Internet, I'd expect. Who wants to reach out when everyone's just a jerk all the time? I'm very guilty of this, too. Reddit, Twitter, and other similar forums are cesspools

Yeah, remember, auto-pilot in a plane needs to be 100% reliable, or everyone dies. A car needs to be, I dunno, 80%? Compared to a bad human driver, who still drives every damn day, a computer need only be about 60% reliable to be better. Pe

All I will say is: try Hololens, then come back here and tell me it is lacking, dramatically. It's a VERY good device. Surprisingly good. I expected it to suck.

Jut wrong about Hololens. Stuff may be drawn close to your face, but the image is scaled very, very well. It may be drawn up close, but it still looks like it's very far away, way more than 2 meters.

What I'm saying is, Hololens does ALL of those VR/AR things already, and there's not even a slight chance of eye damage involved. I really have trouble envisioning anything that would be lightyears beyond Hololens, but rather

I played with Hololens at Build this week. I believe, after seeing it, using it, and even developing a little with it, that this device is truly revolutionary, and Google is wasting its money in Florida. I shook my head back and forth like
