For anybody that needs it, you can toggle a colorblind mode in the gear-icon setup screen. I was very confused until I realized I couldn't tell whether my correct-but-out-of-place letters weren't actually in the right place.

I've always wanted to see (or do) that - just something that you can check in on a year later and say, whatever happened to X from last year?

I use a sloppy meld of Zettelkasten and PARA for this very reason. I used to get nervous about the subject ontology, and the link-to-anywhere aspect of ZK's tags fixed that for me. Plus having a unique ZK tag on every file means I can

Brazil is well within their rights to say, "Fuck you. Pay me."

It's almost like Brazil is switching from a crop (oxygen) which pays nothing to another (beef - or literally any other use of that land) which will. If the richer nations cared about the Amazon rainforest, we'd pay rent on it.

Stop immigration? How do people moving around on the planet make a difference? Especially since immigration moves people from more impoverished places, where they are more likely to have more kids, to less impoverished places, where they ar

Well, it gets easy ones pretty well - misidentified arabica coffee as robusta but did at least get "coffee", and identified a mango tree - but tricky ones (the various weed trees on our farm) are even more hopeless than my own eff

Do you literally just do this deduplication with your brain alone? Or do you have some kind of clever indexing scheme and, if the latter, have you ever written it up? Because that would be interesting to read about.

I live in Adjuntas and no amount of cats would eat this many frogs - fortunately! They tend to quiet down during dry spells, so our rain last week has made things sound much nicer.
