While I agree that that's the case for the promises in many such tutorials, I think this article explicitly shows that that isn't inherent to the thing that FP is about. Your quote is specifically about the code formatted in such

I wouldn't count the Privacy Sandbox doublespeak as "telling you". Brave is not my browser, but it seems completely unjustified to just put them on the same (or even lower) level as Chrome.

For clarity, I think this was posted because it was just updated. I think just the following was added: > And starting in 2024, all our users can look forward to Firefox blocking even more third party cookies. That’s right; we are takin

AFAIK in Firefox you should stay logged in in that case. It's just that if you then visit someothersite.com and that has a Facebook widget embedded, that you'll appear logged out of Facebook there.

In terms of growth strategy, all Signal has to do is wait; bad press for the competitors arrives all the time. So it seems right that she's focused on funding more than user growth.

I don't think the concern was necessarily about overhead, but about sensitive data. This is a problem in Git too: people make the mistake of reverting a commit with sensitive values and think it's gone, but the history is still ou

Tony's Chocolonely is an interesting brand, because its origin lies in a Dutch TV show investigating consumer goods. At some point, the presenter ("Tony" [1]) decided to sue himself for buying slave chocolate, and then decide

It's fairly hard to do, but the ones that make an effort will generally at least have the Fair Trade logo. (UTZ is an weak industry-initiated alternative that does not cut it, as I understand it.)
