Unsure if I'm getting wooshed here, but aren't you describing a flash drive?

Something that's been on my mind for some time is the seeming inevitability of getting RCE'd by some innocuous application- web browser, chat app, videogame, whatever. These vluns keep popping up and eventually one might hit me. A

The bullets in this case were .416 422gn cutting edge mtac bullets- this one, specifically. https://cuttingedgebullets.com/416-422gr-mtac-match-tactical Taken from their press release here: https://nomadrifleman

Working with google's APIs tends to be a nightmare too- varying authentication methods, documentation of various ages, etc. If you're not using their libraries it's a huge pain to my experience. (And their libraries aren&#x27

You could pretty reasonably hook up a string of ws2812s to be a server load monitor or similar... might be a fun project.

I recently made a little IoT thingy off a rasppi- just a weeny air quality sensor stack, but the ease of prototyping compared to more traditional hardware that I'm used to was incredible.

Recently I was trying to look for some documentation on TK. I had remembered an older site, the book on TK, all very good information if slightly dated. Took me a decent amount of searching to remember- effbot.org, which also somewhat micro

As a new programmer with an interest in hardware, this is something I've noticed quite a lot- I was able to learn everything about C/asm as in what functions are available to me to use in a rather short amount of time, but the act

Wouldn't that make the number higher then, if you're counting people that have been through the system? Some rough numbers from the US justice website say more than 650000 people are released from prison each year, and two third

The mac drivers give some hope, but I doubt it will be any better than what we have already.

Mind you, nvidia also has the 1060 which preforms either better or worse than a 480 depending on what benchmark you use, it's basically identical in performance in practice, for the same price point.

by Vexs 10y ago
Not true. Lowest price for 1060, 180$, lowest for 480, 185$. Granted, that's a 3gb model vs 4gb, but the prices are basically identical.

That's a bit much. People who go and yell shit in front of a camera, yeah, that's nothing to celebrate. However, random individuals coming together, learning new things, and working towards a common goal that harms pretty much nob

Agreed, VR is the only thing that maxes out my 1080, aside from ultra-eyecandy shaders.

Hell, I never even considered multiple quads. Look at how "prey" birds avoid falcons and eagles right now, flocks, or in a more cool fashion, murmurations, which in addition to being super cool, are also an effective defense again

I've seen this or other similar ideas a number of times, and I have no faith that they would work outside commercial copters- I mean, right off the bat, the jamming is more likely to explode any bombs than anything else- and the milita

This is a copy-paste from what I posted on reddit in regards to the same kind of thing. Really this entire concept is stupid. Not only are higher-end quadcopters unimaginably acrobatic, to the point where a skilled pilot could easily outfly

I think it's kinda interesting what tiny little tweaks will affect code speed- I recently discovered that in python, if you're only going to use an import for one or two functions, importing it locally shaves off a good bit of tim

Even something like a VPN isn't really perfect, because a smart enough monitoring system could track a vpn connection coming from your system, and then compare that to traffic coming from the vpn. Tricky, but possible.

Schools blocking stuff is very active still- it's extremely prevalent up to and including high school, and only a handful of colleges do any sort of filtering. Furthermore, kids find increasingly shady free vpns as IT blocks more and m

You could strap a ESP236 to a bluetooth or NRF module- those things have a lot of processing power, wifi, etc, and add a little battery. They've got good power consumption, are cheap as hell, and should work.

The big obvious difference is the numpad, or lack thereof. Plus, mechanical keyboards are a lot more comfortable I find. I know they're a bit of a meme right now, but I definitely prefer them over tiny short press chiclet keys.

I heard something some time ago about casinos marking their cards with rfid chips to avoid cheating. I wonder if you could make something to read those RFID chips.
