So the word LISP does not appear in the entire introduction. If you’re introducing a language thats a LISP, that’s really the kind of thing you’ve got to state up front. You can define the term for those unfamiliar, and you don’t have to dw

Personally, I wouldn’t use the term “excited”. The focus could just as easily shift towards nationalist movements trying to hoard resources and prevent refugees from warmer areas from crossing borders. There’s no guarantee that “resilience”

I’d advise not saying “the USA” in conversations like this, but being more specific and saying “US activists” or “US policymakers”. The former are probably who you are referring to, the latter are who people are generally referring to when

Yeah, but take all of those with huge grains of salt. Some of them will only run the vendor’s custom kernel, others have library/driver incompatibility issues, the non-Pi SBC ecosystem is a bit of a crapshoot. And I say that as someone

Dead false. Last year I was working with a client that still (yes, still) had to support IE11 (this was in healthcare) and was able to do so while writing Vue (v2) and bundling with Webpack all thanks to Babel and a handful of polyfills. We

How does this deal with throttling those operations? Like, if I’m converting 100 or 1000 PNGs to Webp, I probably only want 12-ish operations going on at a time so my CPU isn’t context-switching like crazy and the PNGs don’t all load into R

It’s bad at solving logic puzzles today. We’ve just spent a decade-ish watching AI leapfrog over hurdle after hurdle that people said were going to be “impossible” or “would require reasoning/creativity” or “are at best 10 years away”.
