From this thread, sounds like the second point: "It's currently a research project for us and we have an intern from Uppsala University working on the HA features including paxos leader election and multi-master conflict resolution."

I remember those too :-) Great! Zooming I mostly did with applying Bresenham to drawing bitmaps instead of lines (And then obviously repeating lines with BLPxMOD). That site would be awesome.

I still remember my first sin scroller, copper bars and the easy water mirror effects with a negative bitplane offset. I wonder if there is a site that explains copper bars, vertical bars, endless blob, glenz vectors etc.? Would be interest

Thanks for your reply, from looking at Iconfinder it did not look like a large piece of software with lots of business requirements.

You also need a certificate to open a restaurant in most places. You would call the restaurant market "regulated"?

A lot of markets are "regulated", e.g. the food market, there is a lot of thing you can't mix into food (even in the US). Though no one would call this market "regulated".

I found it interesting that a lot of towers look the same, like ah - the people of Skyrim learned that this tower design works for then, hadn't thought they'd use architecture patterns. Interesting. Rather than, oh I'm annoyed the developer

What I've learned from my failed startup during 2000/2001 [1]: With enterprise software the MVP is a power point deck with mockup screen shots. You first need to validate the idea, words, concepts before you start developing. This also help
