Yes, because I don't run away after I've paid. Essentially I'm blocked with a lock after I've paid which is a.) released when I get my coffee b.) released with a timeout (I don't want to wait any longer)

Yes, do that. The court will dismiss your case as you did not read the Paypal terms and user agreements.

Same here in Germany, Dyson vacuums get middle to low scores in all reviews, mostly for suction power, they are very bad at it.

What I do like about the DC08 is how it handles, it's easy. The major downside it has not enough power. Other vacuum cleaners get more suction power out of the electric power, and contrary to Dyson marketing, do not get worse. The DC08 mig

After using a Dyson vacuum cleaner (DC08 Animal) for some years, I now think I've fallen for marketing, the cleaner isn't a very good one and I'd never buy one again from Dyson. Dyson is a lot of marketing, not so much product. I like the

The most interesting thing in that post was on what they focus. One would have that it was terrorism, but no, they spread their attention by looking for drugs with those body scanners. Feeling safe now.

Thanks for quoting these relevant statements. Startups should be careful, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

What I found interesting in dealing with layers: they charge high rates even for standard contracts, EULAs etc. and when asked if one is safe with their advice, only tell you that courts can decide in whatever way they want - so no.

tl/dr What I take from the post: Guy has no fun with underlying technology, rewrites from scratch with more fun framework, does not care about current users, thinks this is offset by future users who can more easily use coffeescript.

I'd assume classes of web app servers perform roughly the same. An evented server in C(++) (Nodejs) should be faster than an evented server in Java for small app code request handlers. For larger app code the speed should approach the perfo

I'm not enough into american culture to decide if a daily tabloid is a "newspaper[s]" or not. Taking the biggest German tabloid "BILD", although I do not endorse their way or content, I'd classify them as a (bad) newspaper nevertheless.

I didn't know that Wikipedia aims to be the web clone of Britannica. I thought it aspired for more. Yahoo tried to replicate business directories on and for the web, Google did not.
