Can anyone ELI5? Honestly, I'd settle for an ELI12 on this one.

Hi! I've built an iPhone app that does this for your current location. http://www.pixpeekapp.com/ It's surprisingly fun to see what your neighbors are up to.

I don't understand what one of the hints means: "One specific dot is included in all solutions imaginable."

It seems that the authors made a specific point to not use Markdown: http://blog.hubpress.io/2015/02/06/HubPress-a-web-applicatio...

I'm under the impression that Apple is the only company with decent software support for "high pixel density." Is that not the case?

It looks like it requires a special modded version of minecraft running on the server. I wonder if they have plans to release or sell the server code.

I want to understand what this is, but the headline doesn't quite make sense and the link is totally incomprehensible.

Would Minecraft be in better hands if Notch open-sourced it instead of selling it to Microsoft?

Are we allowed to talk about this? Isn't this still under NDA?

In this picture, they show the PirateBox attached to the bottom of a skateboard: http://piratebox.cc/faq Can it actually run this way? Do they actually have a portable way of powering this device?

I love this so much. But, when I step back and look at what you're getting for $58, I'm wondering why I can't build one myself. It looks like I'll need an iPad stand, a small mirror, and a fisheye lens. Then, I'll j

His favorite Ouya game, Hidden in Plain Site, is also available for Xbox 360 and it's totally excellent.

Why is this shady? If I intentionally click on a link to an app, why would I not want that link to open the App Store?

It's not about people being assholes. Car accidents kill more young (<35) adults than anything else.

I used to have a desk that could easily covert between standing and sitting. I would switch about every 2 weeks.

I love the idea of a standing desk, but this design probably would cause my neck and back to hurt. Since the monitor is so far back, I would be constantly learning forward and tilting my neck down.

I've never seen this much marketing for a minor iOS update. I wonder what prompted the change.

I'd like to know that as well. It's interesting that they focus on WordPress. A custom WordPress install could potentially have several requests that make up a given page. Wordpress isn't really designed with reducing the req

Car manufacturers need to give up on the idea that one screen should control everything in the car. A touch screen just isn't suited for every task. Knobs are the best volume control and this is unlikely to change. They are also a grea

I completely agree. There is a paragraph of text that you can't even read because it moves to the next slide too quickly. Since I couldn't read it, I stopped trying and left the site. In addition to removing the slider, it also co

Gravity Byte may be a great app. But, it does not make a great first impression. You may want to try to give the app a more cohesive art direction. For example, in the app screenshots, I see 4 different fonts. Also, the game graphics don&#x

I guess you can still like someone as a person while you dislike them as a developer. It's nice to hear both sides of the story.

It's not really fair to call the 3DS a failure. While the launch was rough, the 3DS has definitely recovered. Hopefully, they will be able to pull off a similar turnaround with the Wii U. However, I'm not totally optimistic. The W
