I'm not actually that surprised. There are lots of people who have decent paying jobs, but want more, and it's not as easy as saying "I earn $100k working at X, I can easily earn an extra 30k doing it freelance on the weekend

So there are 2 things there. There's payment for order flow - Robinhood will route your order to Citadel and Citadel will choose whether to trade with you at that price (or route your order somewhere else), the big difference though, i

I think if you talk about the behaviour of the system without talking about the technology it becomes quite clear that this system is just poison. You have to pubish your deals before they execute, and then everyone else has an opportunity

It's been a pretty standard procedure for chip companies to sell CPUs locked from doing specific tasks, whether that's binning, burning fuses to disable functionality etc. It's much cheaper to make 1 design that does everythi

Yes, what you're doing is creating the exact same benefits system but calling it "negative taxation" in order to have the same ability to target you by definition recreate the same complexity.

What you're describing as a "simple" system is simply a system that doesn't meet the demands of the public. It's not simpler, it just provides less. Either you provide everyone with enough - in which case you'r

I don't think it is a hit piece. A while ago I was surprised to hear Charles Murray supportd UBI and so I looked into it - and the author is basically right. There is a right wing case for UBI - you can swap out all these big expensive

I'm not really sure this guy ever actually lost £400k. The 10 BTC are from when he bought in 2017 (for £40k and he'd cashed out that original investment already) and I don't see any plausible reason someone like this was actu
