Topping up, reseating? My experience with tubeless (on a mountain bike) is that I buy a new set of tires, pour some sealant in (Stan's NoTubes), put them on a bike and then ride until there's no tread left. I don't think I&#x

I use a Czech keyboard layout on my Mac, because Czech has some letters that don't exist on a US keyboard, and I don't like switching between layouts. So basically all "programming" characters (braces, brackets, parenthe

I’ve been using Kagi ($10/month user-oriented search engine) for a few months now and it’s what finally scratched my Googling itch. The quality of results is almost like Google a few years ago, plus you can buff, nerf or even block cer

The company that runs a scooter sharing/rental service in my city uses a "Torrot Muvi", with a 3 kW motor it can keep up with normal city traffic even with two people. Speed is limited to 65 km/h. Looks kinda nice too.

No way that something with a 180 kg weight limit only has a 250W motor. I know it’s written on the website, but that simply wouldn’t work. 250 W is weaker than the Xiaomi Mi Scooter, which is a lightweight kick scooter already criticized fo

But it isn’t the way Apple does things. They obviously don’t want Apple computers in the wild running a version of an Apple OS that might or might not work.

Also people who don’t seem to understand how the product, their life and the universe in general work. The “can’t make coffee from cat litter, blames Obama in all seriousness, two typos per word” kind. I always wonder how these people look

If you're willing to put a hole in your wall, preferably somewhere convenient, where you can also place the fridge, then yes, that could be useful.

In the Czech Republic I get like one spam call per year, and it’s usually semi-relevant (carrier, bank, insurance), virtually zero scams or blind marketing calls. Same phone number for 17 years, dozens and dozens of companies have seen it.

I tossed mine (in a case) into a tiny, unventilated drawer where it’s happily running Pi Hole and Home Assistant (~15 ZigBee switches, lights and sensors). I don’t think a Pi 4 would thermally enjoy that, plus it’s impossible to get one, so

What are you even talking about? The median yearly take home pay (sorry, don't know the right word for it) in my middle-of-the-pack EU country is around $16k. Let me say that again, this country is in 35th place out of 193 by GDP per c

So far 2022 has been a great year to buy 2021 Apple products for me. I got an iPhone 13 Mini slightly discounted from the old price, an iPad Mini, again with a ~10% discount, and a Series 7 Watch, discounted. The current generations of all
