I predict this will work itself out by TSMC paying some money to GF. The amount will have some some vague connection to the validity of the case and the mood of a judge.

Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music is also a classic: http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/ It covers up to the '00s, so earlier than the OP. Fittingly, it's all in Flash.

It should be noted that the founder of MoviePass was replaced by the new owners long before the shenanigans against users.

This is blatantly using government power to attack political opponents. Trump, Thiel and other conservatives see Google as left leaning, so they want to hurt it. Thiel also stands to gain economically through Facebook and Palantir.

I still question the idea that "peoples data" is very valuable. I think Amazon is paying $10 for the opportunity to pop up "Hey, buy this on Amazon instead!" ads when you browse other sites.

I think it's you who got it wrong. Some Googling shows that Forza Nuova is pro-Russia, possibly having switched from supporting Ukranian fascist groups in the past. "Mr. Fiore, of Italy’s Forza Nuova, said Moscow is now the sole g

When I search for "USB C cable" on Amazon UK, 90% of the results are A-to-C cables. The first C-to-C cable is an Amazon Basics 2.0 cable, so you are right.

I can see why this is needed. English has very broad words for relatives like "grandfather" or "aunt". Most languages have more specific words, especially Chinese where there are separate words for fathers or mothers sid

-Wall, despite its name, isn't actually all warnings. Compiler devs only rarely put new warnings into -Wall.

It would be nice, but I can see it's not easy to come up with a warning heuristic that doesn't give a bunch of false positives. Sure, 2^16 is "obviously" wrong, but how about SOMETHING ^ XOR_KEY with #define SOMETHING an

That depends on what you are trying to calculate. If you want the market value of a company it's the market cap, # of shares * share price. If you want the value of the company as a going concern it's market cap + debt - cash.
