Agreed. Having Jeff and Joel on the podcast was great and the hosts really complimented each other. However, once Jeff left, that was pretty much for me though and I tuned out after a few episodes. Just wasn't the same without Jeff. Pe

Any thoughts on re-listening to your previous podcasts, finding interesting topics that were either skipped or digressed from and inviting back the guests to do a Q&A style podcast? I feel there are deep wells of interesting topics to b

Now Bezos has all reels of DJT from filming the Apprentice. I wonder how long it will take until we see those leaked. I predict, it will come out once some big legal hammer falls on the 45th President.

Love to see that relationships (edges) are directional. I hate to see graph models where relationships are bi-directional as it loosens up data rules far too much with very little benefit. I've worked with systems where the relationshi

One missing mention is `console.groupCollapsed(label)` which is handy for nesting large dumps of data that you don't want to steal visual real estate. Eg: console.groupCollapsed('data$ at load'); console.groupCollapsed('

Agreed, that is a significant cause. However, that must coincide with a updated monetization model for the platforms to account for the inevitable drop in user engagement. This free platforms model is a hot mess.

I just watched a CBC Marketplace spot on this topic. What scared me the most was the danger of toxic materials in fake products and especially makeup. Some lipsticks from brand name knock offs had had mercury levels hundreds of times higher

Probably several dark versions of this out there have access to this type of technology already. Its just too tempting for maleficent organizations around the world to ignore. Just think about the investigators around the world (FBI, DEA et

Why are they not considering keeping the pre 1.2 compressed runtime.pclntab and have the data be decompressed to a separate file on first run. This way, memory footprint is kept low whilst keeping executable size down?

This is great news for the Rust community as Bryan has been a strong proponent of using Rust at lower levels of computer systems such as drivers and it sounds like Oxide will be focusing much of their development on this level of developmen

I often maintain hard white list for remote services when VPN is not an option. A cool option that does not have much implementation out there is using port knocking to open ports on demand. If the scheme is dynamic, it could be virtually i

RDP uses a single port so opening a port on the public IP NAT for RDP is trivial, however it's always best to hide RDP behind a VPN. This security rule applies to pretty much any remote access protocol, which you should avoid having li
