Interesting. We are very much in need of something like this. BUT; I setup both mobile and and desktop web. Seems like they are not syncing. Certainly not real time. Added to desktop and still not on mobile 3 minutes later even if

Thanks for the video. I always wondered about Duke. That put a great 'face' to the name.

This (coolify) looks very interesting. Since others may have the same question as i do: Does it scale horizontally? We actually have our own racks in datacenter and if i gave 3 machines to it would they handle that? I saw you mention t

Demos are here: https://www.dflex.dev/demo/lists/symmetric/ This looks worth checking out. Appears to work well on desktops and mobile.

The predictions used to be dead on. it was crazy weird how accurate. But shortly after apple purchased they started slipping. Now rarely accurate.

Sometimes you can't see the screw in computer racks. If you have to pull the screwdriver off even so slightly it might be difficult to get back on the screw head. Ratcheting negates this slight issue.

By not having to build more power plants or not putting the battery equivalent of all the power walls. Also, I imagine this is to get the power wall users 'hooked'. Then over next few years that $2 will turn into 20 cents.

I'm not sure of the facts on this case and always need to hear both sides fully before i would comment on them. But; I have run 4 different businesses on stripe over about 6 years and have never had a serious issue. Yes there have bee

Very good points. I think most devs don't think in multiple servers. There should be built in considerations for most of these i hope Next themselves are considering this.

As a firm believer in extended water fasting (more than 7 days) i find the comments here fascinating. I see a lot of people posting wanting sources: Go to youtube and search for autophagy. The research going into this over the last few y

I think Gwynne Shotwell at SpaceX would disagree with that statement. As to day to day running of SpaceX, Elon did exactly that and seems to have picked the perfect person.

I think it fits in that he is engineering electrical vehicles. He is building the tech base. He will need that.

I am just going to throw something new out here. EVERYTHING Elon does is circled around his belief that we need to be living on Mars. Spaceships to get there. Satellites for communications when we get there. Electrical cars since no oi

I had the 16" Intel i9 MBP with 64Gb and recently got the new M1 Max with 64GB (had to wait almost two months after ordering) and it's not even close. I used to have to be quick about closing things in the back ground etc. Forc

This reminds me of one of my first jobs. A corporate C coding position about 1989 or so. The 386 had just came out and we had a couple of NCR 386 boxes that cost about $5000 each. I was called into a pretty high up meeting and recomm

There are several IF studies that say this may be the best way to do it. As the rising of the sun triggers some hormones that help process the food. So having an earlier 'window' has more benefits. Not a doctor. But something
