Just for fun, I'm working on a small Docker distribution for the Pi using 3.12 + uClibc + BusyBox. It's currently ~13 MB but can probably be reduced more. If you're interested in doing it yourself, I've just been using r

I'm looking for "the CoreOS of Raspberry Pi." Just a barebones Linux distro that just runs Docker images. Anyone have any ideas?

I think it might be similar to the trending toward flat design in general. It feels simple.

It looks like it just generates maps as textures. You should be able to use it pretty much anywhere provided you write the shaders.

OSX has seatbelts[1], which is similar to jails. They are just clunky and not documented. Chrome uses them for sandboxing browser processes[2]. [1] https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/documentation/Darwin.

All of my projects now include a Vagrantfile. It makes managing dependencies and creating repeatable environments simple. The work flow is: $ vagrant up $ vagrant ssh Editing and committing changes take place on the host. Running s

I don't think it needs to be binary. Anyone today can choose to accept stolen or blood money. But I think you could create a distributed dye pack. It could just be an API that you query with a coin and receive a signed answer. Your Bit

I think you might be able to just start and end with the laundry cleaners. Blockchain.info could just decide that they won't wash coins that they know were from a high profile hack like this.

A.) I have a job. $1000 is about 58% of what I pay for a month of rent, and about 1/3rd of my monthly income. B.) Meet people, have fun, absorb information from smart people in a memorable moment. I don't see it as much different

Looks like just Facebook/Google Hangouts/XMPP is supported. You can undock chats from the main window and it acts sort of like a buddy list.

I'm working on something that's sort of the opposite called Strapper[1]. The thing is, when I'm trying to launch a new product, I don't even want to build a website. It's a huge distraction. And I don't want to
