Not a lawyer, but that’s how I understand it. In the Citizens United case the Supreme Court has given corporations free speech rights. Included in that right is the right to state an opinion. And when you develop an algorithm that promotes

Good. If you write software that people rely on with their lives, and it fails, you should be held liable for that criminally.

Yeah any automaker doing this would just negotiate a flat rate per car in the US and the insurer would average the danger to make a rate. This would be much cheaper than the average individual’s cost for liability on their insurance.

One thing I don’t see covered here is that awnings have never seemed helpful to me in a humid climate. In Florida you can stand in the shade or the sun and barely feel a temperature variation (if at all). In the summer it may only get a few

Depends on latitude. In Florida which is subtropical everyone has air conditioning. The UK only spans 10 degrees of latitude. The continental US spans almost 25. So the variability of climate here is HUGE.

Yeah if you're leaning towards someone playing older rule sets or OSR, you're definitely going to find it to be rare. I have never seen tables with that overlap (very in-person roleplay heavy + older style rulesets) personally.

Not really. It's the most VISIBLE playing style, because it make for an entertaining live play, so naturally that's what the videos on YouTube lean towards. But at an everyday table, it's generally not expected. Some players

I rarely ever reread stuff. My memory’s not perfect but it’s good enough that rereading something feels like having a guy sitting behind me at a movie yelling out what’s about to happen. It ends up being a not very enjoyable experience for

Here's the difference though: you can't copyright facts. The facts were there before anyone discovered them. If I describe something that is objectively true for the first time, it was simply there and I noticed it. I expect anyon

I'd like to frame this another way. OpenAI is saying they can't survive without copyright owners consenting to use their property to make OpenAI money. And honestly, if your business model is dependent on that, then that's yo
