This is all very well if you have a friendly, high level scripting language like Ruby, but I'm definitely glad I don't have to write a C compiler where functions can take arbitrary blocks of code.

I was fairly sure that NT was originally going to be a microkernel, but it ended up being really slow, so they had to push everything into a more monolithic architecture.

"More retina" is meaningless: the whole pointer is that it's indistinguishable from normal use distance. You can say "higher resolution", or even "retina when held closer to the face", but "more retina" really is nonsense!

Really agree with "Ask a question, don't make a comment." I was part of the audience for a Peter Molyneux talk recently, and half the questions just seemed to be statements. Was just thinking, what's a good answer to that?
