Very cool! Are there other vaccines that have been formulated for mucosal ingestion? What makes that delivery method so effective?

Nice! I’m not seeing an implementation for actually completing the long list of things I have to do though. Perhaps that can be added in a future update? :-)

Silly question: how does an immune system get “trained”? I imagine some of it is through familial transmission but getting sick seems to kick it into high gear.

I wonder if these are novel attacks or if we’re still really bad at getting phished lol. The question I have is what happens when all “private” information is exposed in a society.

4 major organizations breached in the past week? Is this some sort of coordinated attack? It seems everyone and their grandmother has had their information in some way exposed to the internet. The time of pseudo-anonymity is over.

I’m pretty sure their philosophy is that ideas are a penny a pound, it’s proven execution (an MVP) that gets attention.

I find the habits of the very wealthy fascinating. What incentivizes your behavior when you have own all the traditional incentives?

I recall reading an article about how E. coli or elegans or something has the ability to amplify signals 1000x through nothing than a clever biological configuration. The fact that proteins have “memory” blows my mind. It’s interesting how

How do investigators find leaks in a craft that has exploded? I imagine it’s difficult to determine (though evidently possible) whether a defect is in the design, or if it has been introduced by a defect in manufacturing/installation o

They ran out of dangerous places to do designer drugs. In all honesty, Vice was a cool outlet for out-there stories for teens and adults alike. Shame it’s shutting down but then again I never supported it.

I wonder if phones have cursor support. Obviously they have to for touch-based text editing, but it feels different. Touch screens inherently have dead zones with no input, a cursors position persists. I imagine there are a couple of gotcha

Nothing quite like closing the article on a zinger. “ Corporate profits accelerated 4.3% during the period, up sharply from the 0.8% gain in the second quarter.” Won’t anybody think of the corporations??

I know govt. contractors use Okta for authentication. Since names and emails were taken, I expect more targeted phishing attacks as a result of this. Fortunate it wasn’t sensitive data (hopefully.)

Looks useful for people who aren’t AWS savvy, but it doesn’t look like it has much utility beyond a fancy documentation lookup. If I could interface with it with the state of my AWS account and services, I could see that being useful.

Sorry to hear that. Next time you’re looking for a new TV, look for “digital signage” instead. Though the price isn’t subsidized with adware, it should be what you’re looking for. It’s a shame it’s come this far.
