Anecdata: I'm way hungrier later in the day after exercising. If you look for reddit posts on cutting/dieting you can see a lot of people reporting that the extra food craving from exercise can frequently be bigger than what you b

That was definitely not 'the big pitch' of web3. That's a pitch of nfts . Different web3 companies have different pitches. Uniswap for example has little to do with virtual world items and is definitely web3.

I doubt that. The majority are using plain old proxies and VPNs. A very temporary attack on Tor would hardly make a dent. There's near-constant ddosing on Tor of darknet markets, some if it might've spilled over. Even more likely

Fwiw, title editorializing has been enforced pretty lightly for a while, you can find editorialized titles daily which I guess in turn results in more people editorializing theirs. It feels like a lost cause to even bring it up since enforc

I read on my phone that has 525 dpi and it seems to make a difference (I only found myself comfortable reading all books on my phone on my previous one which had similar dpi without noticing). Your $400 phone likely has half the dpi, worse

If you think 50% cost overruns and overheads are uncommon for state sponsored projects.. you will be right but only because often the actual numbers are much higher.

I love hetzner but they aren't really the AWS of Germany - they are a great place to get simple cheap instances but don't have many of the more complex offerings that would make them an 'AWS'.

The reason seems to be stigma as far as I can tell. The negative effects don't seem to be worse than Adderall/Dexedrine and the positive effects are usually a bit better. https://astralcodexten.substack.com/p/

Sorry I meant Desoxyn. > it's chemically different to meth you'd find on the street Well yeah, but the MDMA on the street isn't really pure MDMA either.

MDMA seems more harmful to me with semi-frequent use. The comedowns are brutal and repeated use seems to make it worse. Either are fine taken occasionally but opioids and meth (vyanese) can be taken daily with fairly small negative effects

Nobody is arguing that there aren't cases where drugs have negative effects. What's argued it whether banning or allowing them has more negative effects.

I agree but I actually wouldn't mind if carbon emissions and offsets were tracked and ensured to be not too negative. There are easier ways to do that though - e.g. just include money for offseting in the flight price.

Maybe if the information didn't get out but given that a lot of it happens on-chain you get articles like this so more of them start suspecting that's the reason for their poor returns.
