Agreed. Solving any real problem is a good problem to solve. Cell phones have changed the way Africans communicate with each other, as well as any other developing country/area, but I don't think the initial problem was to solve poor tele-c

Another interesting note is the level of innovation. Apple is reinventing the 'book' in the digital realm, by providing authoring tools for free, while rethinking what a textbook can be in the digital real (videos, interactive content, etc.

Thanks for sharing this link. For e-books I find PDF a superior format, as it maintains the original design and layout of the book best, while still having all the advantages of an e-book, searchable, etc. Appreciate that informit.com has t

Well made video that articulates an argument well, and has a positive call to action at the end. Very sensitive topic as well, wonder what potential solutions would or could be.

Exactly. I would prefer Netflix's initial friend system with an option to integrate with FB. I find there are very few of my friends whom I would be interested in their taste, and vice versa. A very small percentage of my friends would want

I agree, it seems recently that NYTimes appears to be embracing 'blogging' ethics over traditional journalistic ethics. They also have a negative bias against Apple, which I assume is purely for headline attention. (I've thought about gathe

I don't know much about Mexico or China, I was merely trying to point out that Anderson has a history of sensational controversial headlines, in Wired, and now post Wired. Mexico and China are both curious countries to study. I have not bee
