Paper bags are a pain. The stores that push paper have paper bags with no handles. It makes carrying more than one bag very clumsy. I tend to avoid the stores around here that only have paper.

“To Turn the Tide” by S.M. Sterling is a story positing a small group of modern people transported to the time of Marcus Aurelius and bringing modern technology ideas to prevent the Germans from degrading the Roman Empire. They don’t really

probably not. This does not work by adding a binder, like a plastic. This process softens the wood and then compresses it. I'm not sure that doing that with sawdust would give you enough tensile strength.

Another vote for Toto add-on bidets. Yes, the dryer is pointless. Just use a few sheets of TP for that. I do like the warm water douche, though. Seems to have plenty of pressure. There is a wider, softer mode, too.

That’s why Grid Storage is a major topic in power generation and renewables. The technology and economics are evolving. A lot of people are working on finding a storage solution that is both durable and economical. One solution is probably

Does this still load as fast. I have found that, after you have run the app once, it will load very quickly for a day or so and then load more slowly again. I believe that there is a cached state which does not run the slow check and which

I live in the US and during warm weather hang my laundry outside on a clothesline to dry. I live in a suburb and so have a backyard for this. Living in an apartment would make this unfeasible. The area I live in has quite a lot of cool or r

There is an about:config setting you can turn on. I don’t have it hear but it has been widely posted so take a look. I think if you search about:config for “tab” it might show up.

I use tab groups for work projects. I am a project manager. I usually have somewhere around 200 long term tabs open at a time with several other transient tabs. I typically am working on 4-5 projects at a time with some other non-project wo

This is not really a related issue other than "tax". Amazon's policy around applying sales taxes is just a distraction for this issue.

Inflation is a systemic issue that cannot be specifically identified. A tax is a deliberate fee that is distinct from the actual cost of items. Not showing the cost of tariffs would be a deliberate attempt to hide the price of that tax.

What is wrong with displaying this? It is an additional tax added to products, very much like sales tax. It is entirely appropriate to display taxes and similar fees on an invoice. It would be disingenuous to hide it.

Are you saying that the ark left the flooded Black Sea basin, flew through the air, and landed on a mountain many kilometers from the sea? That seems like a stretch to fit a hypothesis.
