maybe because of the tight integration of the pencil with the display? You don't get that on a desktop device, even with a separate tablet.

While it is measurable, it is so thin as to be irrelevant for most considerations including impact on photography.

Judging by this sub-thread, the process really is harder to explain that it appears on the surface. The basic idea is simple but the implementation requires deeper knowledge.

It is not presented as fiction but as actual history. Casual viewers don’t catch on to the lies and believe it.

it might depend on what you want to do with the underline. Does it just indicate some kind of emphasis? Could you use the convention in your documents that "_" is the underline delimiter? I know that the default is to render it as

In Old English, ‘c’ was always hard and the soft sound used ‘s’. ‘K’ was not used or at least not common. We got the mixed up ‘c’ sounds with the Norman French influence.

Are you concerned about the screen size, then yes this is bigger. If your concern is pocketability this new phone is only 0.25 inches larger in the diagonal.

You will likely need to wait for iOS 19 when they transplant an LLM into Siri for that kind interaction. Even then I’m not certain that Apple will go that direction.

The distinction between optical and digital zoom get a little blurred by this kind of camera setup. No pun intended.

Yes, this replaces the SE which was not really that small. The SE screen was small but the case not so small. This 16e is less that 0.25 inches bigger in the diagonal.

Perhaps replacing Siri with an LLM within the resources of a phone is complicated and takes time to get right. I’m willing to wait to see where they go with this a while longer.

Siri doesn’t use Apple Intelligence. It is 10+ year-old technology that does not do learning. We won’t seen a truly smarter Siri until June when Apple previews the LLM Siri.

It depends on how long that external monitor takes to wake up and respond to the display connection to confirm that it is there. If the monitor is still active then that is almost instant.

For most people they are not using 100% of capacity every day. In fact large numbers of laptops are primarily used plugged in and just move from desk to desk. In that scenario charging to 80% has no downside. The upside is that your battery

“ I looked it up on my laptop when I got home” That is the real mechanism for triggering the ads and memes, not that “your phone is listening to you.” At least feel creepy about the real cause and not some imagined monster under the bed.
