"I have not heard the claim that it's the mystical experience doing the work." This claim has been the prevailing view of almost every psychedelic researcher from the 60s until ~10 years ago. It was also a big contributor to

So, did some research. TFL have not released hard figures in recent years, but it appears the delays due to jumpers are significantly down from their past near-daily occurance because of the installation of "suicide pits" to catc

The tube is pretty bad. Many lines have grime floating in the air that deposits on skin & clothing and turns your snot black. Often a very long walk pavement to platform. Frequent delays from suicide attempts because its old so no track

Not something to be proud of when you have less half a million customers. Literally half the terminals are e-waste because you can't pause service or pass the terminal on to someone else to use.

With 16GB I can easily run out of VRAM and encounter serious slow downs when working with multiple 4K texture sets in Substance Painter. That's working on Hero assets for current-tech games. UE5 Nanite assets and film assets are much h

No, no, no. Roleplay servers do not require human moderation. What all these servers seem to miss is that you should enforce your design objectives through game design rather than moderation and rules. Eve Online is the best example of

I feel real bad for Rockstar. So many people have put so much work into this for so many years only for it to leak out in this form is a real shame. I guess their only recourse is to get a trailer out asap to show the game how it was intend

Anyone can get into game development with low risk. Why start with the gargantuan task of a whole game? e.g. you could be making flightsim addons. Paint a few liveries or code a simple plugin and people will find value in it pay for it.

Fortunately there is ongoing excavation nearby at Karahan Tepe; it's a recently discovered even larger sister site built by the same civilization.

Nothing. excavation has stopped with no plans to continue. The decision has been made to preserve the site for future generations (at the expense of this one). We literally barely scratch the surface of discovery because of a contradiction

The price quoted in the article is $20,000 which is almost exactly the market cost of a 40 KWh LiFePO4 battery, but most people would probably end up paying more than that. The cost is directly comparable, nothing nuts there.

I've never heard it called the "graveyard of dreams" before; usually it's "dead men's boats". Depreciation on boats bottoms out at 1990 or so, and there are many great old boats that can be had for very li

The most reasonable time, effort and cost to get this experience would be an Xbox Series X. There are a few graphics optimizations compared to the PC version maxed out, but you get 99% of the way there. As for actual PC hardware; any curren

The Sims 3 was an open world game by most definitions. The Sims 2 and The Sims 4 can still make a case for being open world; you can explore at will, but with many loading screens.

To me big potential issue about Metamask is if a compromised update got pushed out; a lot of damage could be done before people noticed even if it would be discovered immediately.
