I don't know for sure but my feeling is that showing that you're the type of founders that will make things happen is much more important than having a stellar background. Many YC founders are very young and don't have a killer background y

I have experienced happiness much more as a personal choice than a byproduct of living. Your living creates certain external circumstances that can lead to happiness or depression. Often it really doesn't matter what the external result is

I actually have and think Salesforce is a great CRM solution. But that's not the point of this piece. The core argument is that CRMs are not sales software and not the right interface for sales reps as core user group. If you look at the UI

Companies use our service for the same reason companies use Amazon's AWS (even competitors like Netflix). If sales is not your core competency you probably want to work with us :)

That's a fair point. To be honest right now we have more demand than we can handle so we haven't really optimized the website for that. It's more of a recruiting tool for hires :) Definitely plan to improve on it though!

Right now we solve conflict of interests by not working with competitive customers in the exact same space. There are long term solutions for this. Regarding contacts - yes you keep all of them :) We use contracts and processes that make it
