As the article admits, they'll probably find someone to do this for free. And if someone agrees to do this for free, we'll, that's how much it costs. I'm sure they'll get their money's worth.

I shoot (or used to) with a DSLR, but I have to say that mirrorless is just superior. Much less bulky, fewer moving components to break, better performance. You can pry my shutter sound from my cold, dead hands, though.

Is this a prank? They can't be selling those things for 100 eur (or at all).

Rename the emoji to "person with two right hands clasping them" and you're done!

Yes, I also turned it back on when I realized. I just noticed that I'm actually still using it, I just had the icon hidden. It's not as useful without the learning, though.

Interesting how we wouldn't really mind the parameters if sites took the time to clean up after themselves instead of leaving them in the URL.

This is a nit, but why "cannon" and not "canon"? Presumably it's not firing projectiles at things.

I used to use Privacy Badger as well, but they've recently removed the learning feature (because it could be used to track you, IIRC), so it became similar to uBlock Origin, to the point where it feels redundant to run both.

That's soldering wires to them, not the component onto a PCB.

Did prions survive cooking? I'd have thought cooking the beef would have killed them.

Yeah but you know what they say about different folks.

That would indeed be fantastic. V8 has had so much optimization whereas CPython has had very little of it, though Pypy deserves a mention here. They've been doing fantastic work, but I guess there's always the curse of the referen

You can't solder those because you can't get unset the part, you need a stencil and a reflow oven.

This is entirely accurate, except for two notes that I have: I never could braid to work, and flux works wonders. Other than that, spot on.

Oh yeah, checking types the way the author was doing it is explicitly an antipattern. If you want to do duck typing, you should check that the object acts like you expect (e.g. that it has a defined "addition" operation, if you wa

Or why not just use the optional types that have been there for a decade? def validate_age(age: int, errors: List[Error]): Install Typeguard if you want runtime error checking, otherwise use mypy. Done.

Maybe this is just the first crisis we're hearing about. Alternatively, if they only hit one crisis in decades of running a company, they must be doing something right.

You'll probably need to do at least some disassembly to get to it (maybe next time you take the car for servicing). Then you can either wrap the antenna in some aluminum foil or just cut it (which would probably fry the transmitter). I

Turkey is threatening war if Greece extends its borders to the 12 nm allowed by the UNCLOS. A farmer moving a stone that changed the border here would be a serious incident.

Must be nice to have neighbours that aren't threatening to go to war if your borders change.

Ahhh okay, so his old first girlfriend. That makes sense, thanks. "Started dating his first girlfriend again" might have been clearer.

Hm, that makes sense but it's also a bit of a stretch from the GP's comment, I especially don't understand why the wife doesn't count as a girlfriend.

How was he married without having dated? And what does dating have to do with depth of connection? Haha, I am very confused now.
